'A Listening Air' debut album launch

Affinity Quartet is heading to Mexico with invitations to the 38th Festival de Música de Morelia, ProMúsica San Miguel de Allende, the Centro para la Cultura y las Artes de la Ribera, and the Festival Internacional de Música de Guadalajara.

Marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Australia and Mexico, this send-off concert also celebrates the release of Affinity's all-Australian debut album, A Listening Air.

The program opens with Webern's Langsamer Satz, followed by Peter Sculthorpe's Jabiru Dreaming, and Mexico's celebrated composer Silvestre Revueltas' Música de Feria. Beethoven's thrilling second Razumovsky Quartet closes the program. Come support Affinity before they head off!
